Satveer Dhillon is a Master of Science student in Geography at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Western University. Inspired by her undergraduate thesis on climate-related internal migration, her research interests include examining how climate change impacts health and well-being in low- and middle-income countries. Further, she is interested in learning more about what local programs and policies can be implemented in vulnerable communities to mitigate the negative impacts of climate change. At WeCLISH Centre, Satveer hopes to connect with like-minded scholars to expand her knowledge through engaging discussions and seminars and collaborate to design innovative solutions to climate change – the biggest threat to global public health.
